In the Lower School at Queens Hebrew Academy, students grow into confident learners and proud Jews. They build strong literacy and writing skills, develop mathematical confidence through hands-on problem-solving, and engage with STEM, social studies, and the arts through dedicated specialists. Across the curriculum, learning is culturally relevant and connected to the real world.
Hebrew and Judaic studies are central to the Lower School experience. Beginning with the TaL AM curriculum, students develop Hebrew fluency through immersive, engaging learning. Over time, they learn to navigate Chumash, discuss Parshat HaShavua, and explore Rashi – building both skills and a meaningful connection to Torah and Jewish life.
