Specialties

Enriching every day through the arts and exploration

Specialty classes expand how students express themselves, bringing creativity and skill-building to every day of the week.

Library

Our warm, inviting library is home to thousands of English and Hebrew books, encouraging students to discover new interests and develop a genuine love of reading. During weekly library time, students also build research and information skills, learning how to locate and evaluate both print and digital resources.

Music

Students create music together while building a strong foundation in music theory. They sing a wide range of Hebrew, Israeli, and American songs, learn rhythm and melody, and begin reading notes on the treble clef. Over time, they learn more complex musical concepts and different families of instruments, gaining appreciation for music through consistent practice and participation.

Art

The art room is a bright, colorful studio where students look closely at the world around them and interpret it through drawing, painting, clay, collage, and sculpture. They learn core elements such as line, shape, color, texture, and composition, often transforming two-dimensional ideas into three-dimensional work. Along the way, they are introduced to renowned artists like Chagall, Picasso, Monet, and Van Gogh.

Over time, students refine their techniques and begin to see themselves as artists capable of expressing their ideas in meaningful ways.
