Middle School

A dynamic middle school experience that challenges, inspires, and prepares

In middle school at Queens Hebrew Academy, students take meaningful steps toward academic and personal independence. In a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment, they deepen their learning across disciplines and begin to take ownership of their ideas.

A strong dual curriculum in general and Judaic studies challenges students to think critically and communicate clearly, navigating increasingly complex ideas with confidence and purpose. At the same time, students delve deeper into the beauty of Jewish tradition and the richness of Torah, further developing a sense of identity and responsibility as young Jewish adults.

Hebrew instruction continues to build toward real fluency. Students are grouped by level to ensure appropriate challenge and support, with many students learning content fully in Hebrew. The goal is practical and lasting: that students can read and communicate in Hebrew with confidence, including in real-world settings like Israel!

Through a differentiated, student-centered approach that balances rigor with support, middle school students build the academic foundation and study habits needed for high school and beyond.
