Kindergarten
The Kindergarten curriculum builds on the strong foundation of early childhood while supporting each child’s individual pace of growth.
Each day is a thoughtful balance of play, small-group instruction, and whole-class learning that supports both academic growth and social-emotional development. Students begin more formal literacy development through the Fundations phonics program, strengthening letter-sound relationships, decoding skills, handwriting, and early reading fluency.
Mathematical thinking grows through the Savvas curriculum, where children explore addition, subtraction, patterns, measurement, and geometry through manipulatives and real-world problem solving.
Jewish life remains central through Torah learning, Hebrew exposure, tefillah, holidays, and classroom routines. Students leave Kindergarten with growing independence, academic readiness, and Jewish pride – well prepared for Lower School and beyond.
